Quick picks
Clear crossbody stadium bag, 14 × 14 × 6 inches or smaller — Shop
Read more about my recommendations here
Touchscreen gloves — Shop
These gloves are amazingly comfortable, and I recommend ordering a size slightly large so that you can fit a hand warmer in the palm.
Hand warmers, electronic — Shop
These are small enough to fit into your gloves or your pockets; order at least a pair for each person.
Hand warmers, disposable — Shop
If you don’t want to get the rechargeable hand warmers, get these because they work really well and fit everywhere: gloves, pockets, hats, shoes, etc.
Compact blanket — Shop
This blanket is large enough to wrap 2 people together. Get 1 for every 2 people, or more if they don’t share well…
Thermal beanie — Shop
Slim USB-C power bank with built-in short cable — Shop
Whether it is a hot day game or a cold winter night, you will want to have a handheld portable fan or handwarmers and a plentiful charge. This is my pick because it is inexpensive and gets the job done, and it has the wires built in, so you don’t have to worry about bringing a charging cord!

Pack it warm and light
Wear a thin base layer under your jersey, or a thicker layer on the really cold nights.
Add a light mid-layer that compresses into your clear bag.
Put the beanie in the bag and gloves in a small pouch near the top.
Carry the blanket in your hand for easier inspection.
Keep hand warmers and a short charging cable within easy reach.
Cold survival tips
Open hand warmers 10 minutes before kickoff so they are ready when the temperature dips.
Sit on the blanket to cut seat chill.
Keep bundled up and under the blanket.
Family notes
Pack a second beanie and extra warmers for kids.
A sticker or activity book helps during pre-match waits.
If you sit near the supporters section, consider kids’ ear defenders.
